Today “solely the care applied in painting so as to make it durable” as Gustave Eiffel, builder of the Eiffel tower, put it in 1900, is no longer enough.
Rather, in most cases, engineering skill is required - with the support of powerful technical equipment for blasting, conveying, dust removal, filtering, acclimatisation and coating.
